Science Research Failure: Spud Shouldn't Have Died

[ Edited ]

Because Titan's gravity is 14% of Earths and its atmosphere is 50% denser, Spud should not have fallen to his death. Even if he were not able to generate the 9% of his weight in lift that would enable him to fly, he should have fallen slowly enough to not die or even get hurt all that badly. It would have taken the whole episode for him to reach the ground, though.

They have been playing fast and loose with the science stuff.

Though to be honest all of those facts would have done Spud no good

since he would have been frozen solid and shattered with very little force.
