Titan Maximum

Season 1 ended with Gibbs seemingly triumphant over Titan Force Five as Mercury is about to explode, with them on it.

So what happens next?  Or rather, what would you prefer happen next?

1.  Everybody survives.

2.  Someone from TFF dies (probably either Jodi or Leon)

3.   Everybody dies and we're suddenly introduced to a new cast ala Vehicle Voltron.

Judging by the ratings, I doubt TM is getting cancelled.  Although if it is, Robot Chicken should give us a skit as a series finale.  Have Gibbs battle the real Voltron.

I think they should all survive, but I'd like to see the teams shaken up a bit.

New villains, new heroes, maybe some or all of the five switch sides.

The second season could be great.

Voting for A. TFF might survive with some virtue in the whole "good guys always survive in the comedy shows" rule, but all the grandparents are as good as dead without the shield to protect them.

I doubt that Tom Root would go all  "vehicle Voltron" on us. Robot Chicken said it was stupid (IMHO, they're worse than TFF. At least TFF takes care of the enemy: Vehicle Voltron's too busy transforming to save the day), so I doubt that they'd go that far to actually parody something they did a Take That on and let the good guys die.

If Choice D is chosen, I'm sure Robot Chicken will make a finale for it just like SNL did for Taxi.

It wouldn't necessarily have to be 15(!) new guys. You could kill off TFF and introduce a new trio of insane pilots, or have a new five man group. I used Vehicle Voltron as an analogy for all the kids who heard Voltron, expecting lions and getting Dairugger XV.

Personally, I pick Choice B.

Well, at least Titan Force Five, the citizens of Mercury are f*cked.

But as long as they can cram back into the remains of Titan Maximum they'll be fine.

I mean, Titan Maximum and it's ships flew to Mercury and were outside the shield before being given a Visiting Pass to enter the solar shield.

I don't see why they couldn't survive leaving the planet the same way.

They just might end up floating around for a while, though.

I choose number 1.  I would be extremely disappointed if any of TFF died, especially because I've grown to love how they interact with each other.  I think there was a big enough surprise in all of Mercury dying, lol aka "euthanasia", did not expect that.  I do want Claire back as well cause she was Gibb's sidekick.  I have to say I will miss Gibbs interacting with his Grandma though: one of my favorite episodes.   Ugh.. I want everyone back, but hey, I'll settle for Mercury in order to find out what happens between Palmer, Jodie, Sacha, and Gibbs.

Well, I wouldn't mind seeing Jodi and Sasha get spanked.

The way I see all four options if they occur...

1.  Season 2 plays out much the same as season 1.  Probably for better or worse.

2.  Whoever dies gets replaced with a relative of Spudd's.

3.  The show completely switches gears and focuses on a different group of pilots, parodying a different show.  The only constant is Gibbs.

4.  Gibbs vs. Gunbuster because TFF is dead.  And the show goes out with a bang.

There are two reasons TM should get renewed:

1) Its just an awesome show.

2) There will be more of a possibility of seeing Sasha naked or in a two piece.

Like the Wizard of Truth said, TFF can survive. But, I hope that Claire isn't resurrected. -- I'm not thrilled that she was killed off, but, I cannot imagine how she could have survived that end.

Claire does not have to survive. [I cannot help but think it so ironic that we have gotten hung up on Claire.]

As has been suggested, Claire could be cloneable. Gibbs, then, should whip up another one.

I mean, that's what she is anyway; no? She is a caricature of infantilized female sex object and caretaker.

Cloning is, perhaps, *better* than resurrection. It is the paradox of such an object. She (or he) is perfect and irreplaceable until she is replaced. We worship one until we get another.

I don't approve of change, it's scary.

Reality is already tragic enough, killing off a fictional character would be too depressing for our society.
The writers most certainly do not need to inflict that kind of pain on to us.

Please writers, have a conscience & keep everyone safe & alive.
But then again, it's your show....Do as you please.
Maybe just one little fatality wouldn't be so bad.

Who though? See that's the problem, everyone is too marvelous.
No one deserves to perish.

All of the characters have established an awesome unit together.
Removing even just one of them could possibly destroy the brilliance that is Titan Maximum.
