Titan Maximum: Rocks or Flops?

What did you think of Titan Maximum  since the pilot aired tonight?

I thought it was pretty good. It was like an organized Robot Chicken  without all the jumping around and it has a plot.

Also, the fat guy falling off the balcony was hilarious.

It was pretty great. I look forward to more.

It's uninteresting, unfunny, and overall just awful. I will not be watching it.

You realize it doesn't matter how much you don't watch it, they *will* be airing it regardless.

Heck I stopped watching most of adult swim when they stopped airing anime - and I still miss it because it was the last time I actually looked forward to watching anything on television.

But remember that whether anyone likes it or not - it's on and will be on as long as they want it to be.

As for Robot Chicken - I think it's both trash and genius at the same time.

I agree with those who say it's the best, I agree with those who say it's the worst

Try comparing an episode of Robot Chicken to a stand-up comedy act, they have the exact same pacing and layout.

I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. It seemed ok but maybe after a couple of more episodes it'll find it's groove..... or not. I'm willing to give it a chance.

Let me be first to say I think this show is gonna be a big hit and here's why. I was just channel surfing when I saw the name Titan Maximum. First for a show name it's awesome made me switch to cartoon network.

Then after a few seconds of funny moment I was hooked. This show is so funny and the animations are done so well. I stayed through the entire thing which is something I don't do with Adult Swim shows.

I think this show will bring a ton of new viewers to Adult Swim. It is funny and brilliant. Long live Titan Maximum!

I usually hate this type of animation but I was completely hooked, I laughed through the entire episode. Keep it up and please put the episodes online so I can harass my friends with their animationy goodness.

Not bad. It's basically Robot Chicken's take on Voltron in claymation. I like what I've seen so far.

I would gladly trade Titan for Korgoth. I mean what happened? Did the Korgoth animators go extinced? I mean just because Will Farrel Or what ever his name is Quit the Oblongs does that mean the voice overs couldn't be done by some one else? AS, pull yourselves together! I feel like you guys are losing sight of what the fans want. Good shows have fallen by the wayside to shows that are mediocre at best. I am a fan but I am not having as much fun. Think how to play not how to get paid, have you lost your minds. This is not a shot at you Lord_Tony but Korgoth sends me into a tangent as you can tell from my picture.

I recall something like... the creators were tasked instead with doing Class of 3000, which Cartoon Network thought would be a better move than having them on Korgoth.

Oh, Kogarth, that was a show. See, back in my day, we had animated television shows that had things like barbarians living in a post-apocalyptic nightmare. Now you kids and your "claymation". Titan Maximum, get off of my lawn!

Seriously though, Titan seemed funny enough, but it's only one episode. The ADD that works so well for Robot Chicken snuck its way into Titan a little bit and it wasn't so great. Potential. This show reeks of potential.

One of the better pilot's I've seen.  The show has potential, the main problem I see with it is that I don't know how this gimmick is going to play out.  The real problem I see is that we are supposed to be watching something with continuity and we have a setting with no need for giant robots, yet the giant robot is the only thing able to overcome the villains weapon.   I dunno it seems like we're gonna run into continuity issues in a show that is supposed to give continuity to a style we're familiar with that has no continuity if you get what I'm saying.

On the upshot I think that the show is that it was pretty funny at places, and because it's a pilot it wasn't gonna be a gem and most of us knew that.  Personally I'm gonna wait till I hear Billy Dee Williams before I pass final judgement.

"They have one female servicing a population of males, that implies a species that lays eggs!"
