I have the feeling that this parody is a taste of things to come.
From what I can tell, [AS] ratings have been fairly mediocre. PHF aired, and was cancelled back when anime started to decline. Perhaps this is an attempt to get comedy fans interested in anime, and thus attract some of their old rabid fanbase.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. People think that parody exists to insult, and defile a form of media, but I believe it is more of a tribute.
Of course... I could be wrong.
Please give me the courage to stand up for what I believe in
The determination to continue until the horse is completely beaten
and the compassion to know when to let it go.
