Oh yeah, I remember seeing a preview for it on XBL one day a while back and said to myself, "Huh, looks alright, but I'm not looking to play anything new right now." Wouldn't mind giving it a shot now, going to wait for next paycheck - I figure I can probably set aside a few dollars out of my DJ equipment fund to give it a go. ![]()

I remember Toonami would review games occasionally when it was on the weekday schedule monday-friday though the only game I remember most which I had gotten was Super Mario Sunshine for GameCube at the time.

With these most recent reviews, (i am speaking of the april 1st and may 26th reviews) i am surprised they were able to really capture the feeling of the game in their words. Tom is straight and to the point both times i felt like "yeah i got a handle on what the game is kind of about now". ya know?

I think Tom should make game ads and not reviews. To help pay for good anime.
Tom could also do ads for anime not on adult swim, movies, rock/melal music

I would rather not, have ads, reviews are both entertaining and part of the whole toonami experience. you are essentially suggesting they take out a part of adult swim and it would be for no reason because they already air ads or other stuff. An ad for a video game wont make much of a difference especially since it is a midnight run type deal. I mean im all for ads for video games, but getting rid of a video game review segment in favor of those ads is just crazy..

Toonami has to make something off the reviews the help pay for the bump and new anime. Maybe each review can be sponsored. Tom could say this review was sponsored by coke for instance.
The same can be done for text bumps. Sponsores name at the end of text.
Starting Toonami at 11:00pm would help ratings and Ad revenue. Adult swim would have 9:00pm to 11:00Pm est.

Who knows how they do the game reviews maybe they already do that? Also for us to even get another hour this block has to prove itself as something legitimate.

would like to see some JRPG reviews personally, but generally want to see games often ignored reviewed.

I liked it, the game review was probably the best thing in the whole block, so I hope they keep it up

Also they should try to stick to reviewing lesser known games, stay away from stuff like Mass Effect 3 that everyone's played, and maybe review some more obscure titles

I don't really agree with that. I mean, yes, review obscure titles TOO, but I don't think popular games should be excluded just because they're popular. Even people who've played a game like to see reviews of that game.

I mean come on, it's not hard to find a million mass effect 3 reviews and I'm going to venture that 95% of the people that play games and watch toonami probably already had and beat the game anyway. I wouldn't want to watch a review for a game I've already beat, but if it's something I'd never really given attention to, a hidden gem so to speak, it would definitely interest me a lot more. Plus. there are plenty of anime related games coming out that many people don't even know exist because they don't get any publicity

Here's how a review gets done according to a tweet: https://twitter.com/Clarknova1/status/206958914728

So Demarco just basically pulls games from his personal library?
I can dig it.

I could deal with them reviewing more indie stuff. Lot of it needs more love.
Just glad to see that TOM's back in the reviewing business honestly. One of the few memories of old Toonami I have is his game reviews which were often pretty cool.
Anyone remember that one game he gave a ?/10 because he couldn't beat it?

Yeah indie stuff would be cool, i get my gaming info from more immediate sources anyway, but i dont always get to the more indie stuff. I remember that review somewhat, but i have no idea what game it was! I remember thinking "WTF tom just jipped me" haha hopefully they are going to be able to do new game reviews every week like demarco plans.
