I find much of this art to be quite coolish.

At some point, (when I have a better internet connection, most likely) I intend to take the vocal samples from "Dreams/Broken Promises" and re-cut them into a modern reprised version. I'm just an ameteur electronic/instrumental hip-hop/whatever artist, but it's something that means a lot to me and something I want to do. So, look out for that at some point.

That sounds pretty cool, I'll look forward to it. Will you be reusing the Broken Promise track as well or making your own music for it?

No, I'll be making my own (well, I use samples, so sort-of my own, point is, not re-using the same music track). I'm hoping to tie the new version directly in to Toonami's revival, and I intend to call it "Promises Kept".

I have a few ideas on how to do that, but nothing concrete yet.

It's actually really good. But you should really really really edit the title to indicate it's fanmade. You don't want to get a bunch of downvotes because of people thinking you're trying to pull off a hoax.

Okay quick run down;

Used to post a lot here when Toonami was still around, That's Good! Toonami got cancelled so I stopped posting, That's Bad.

Toonami came back, THAT'S AWESOME! Whole section on Board made for Toonami, Also Awesome!

Well to break formula and to get straight to the point already I forgot what my old profile was, made a new one, and started making Fan Toonami Promos for shows I'd like to see.....Like This one for Fate/Zero!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EJKawT3UNw

Expect more soon since I want to make more custom intros for shows I like and apparently I've been taking in request from some people, not sure how that started to happen but hey I don't mind! XD

As an update on my own project, I have decided that I will be using the original "Broken Promise" backtrack to "Dreams", but only a small snippet of it (about the first three seconds or so, looped).

I've decided to go for a more sound-collagey feel.

That's pretty cool, although I would stick strictly to dubbed anime.

Also, what program did you use to edit that?

I would rather keep the program I use a secret, only becausee I've found that use of that particular piece of software tends to earn nothing but derision.

In any case, I do plan on sticking solely to English-language videos.

Furthermore, an extremely, extremely rough sketch of the concepts here can be found on my soundcloud. Nothing on that is final yet, though.

edit: it just now occurred to me that it wasn't me who was being spoken to.

oh well.

Well I took the liberty of using something with a Japanese Dub because in the best case scenario, if it did ever end up on Toonami, then they would have to make their own promo with the English Dub that would have to be made to air it on television. That or if just conveniently got an English Dub and then decided to license it.

Either way I plan on doing shows with English dubs and shows that at the moment only have a Japanese Dub just to give an idea what it would be like if the shows ever got to be on Toonami, of course getting an English Dub to go along with it if it ever did.

I'm hoping that it would have some of the companies consider making some English Dubs for their most requested shows which is kinda impossible but I plead the "A Boy Has The Right To Dream" motto on that matter lol

Anyway for the next one I'm making (Putting aside the shows I've been getting a bunch of requests from people like I mentioned earlier.) I'm either going to do Gurren Lagann, Gundam 00, Gundam Wing, The Devil May Cry Anime or Karas.

SO I HERD YOU LIEK TOONAMI

The reason the aspect ratio is inconsisent is because Slim doesn't have all the Intruder episodes, so I have to get the ones he's missing from the Digital Arsenal.

Pretty awesome, although my aspect ratio OCD is saying that since those videos weren't originally in widescreen and thus look fat due to the image being stretched, it would've been better to squash the remastered Intruder episodes to 4:3.

Still, great work. :smileyvery-happy:

It's the only thing that bothers me about the remasters Slim uploads, and I'm not even sure if it's his fault or not since sometimes Youtube will stretch high-res 4:3 videos without warning, but all of them do the same thing and it really bugs me. :smileylol:

I updated the link. I forgot that it was only a 35 second video and it would only take a couple minutes to fix. I thought about cropping the 2012 footage, but it looked too weird.
