Is there any sort of day time promotion going on for TOONAMI or are promo's/bumps left for AS time??

I'm pretty sure there have been no daytime advertisements.  I mentioned earlier in this thread that I don't know how expensive it would be, but it might help if they had ads on CN.  Older people and old Toonami fans might see them, and kids who want to watch more mature stuff might see them.

[as] and CN are technically different networks, and they don't air commercials for each other's programming. Their target demographics are completely different, too; [as] doesn't care how many kids tune in, they want the 18-34 demo. Advertising to kids during the day wouldn't help the ratings that matter.

We manipulated the manual, and the Revolution lives on. Only Toonami.

Thanks for that.  It seems like Deadman and Casshern are still #1 in the 18-24 and 18-34 demographics if I read right.  I don't know much about ratings and stuff, but it seems promising so far.

Also, last week we got the ratings for demographics, followed by total numbers for each show on Toonami.  I'm guessing it will be the same for this week?

I would hope they would be quite a bit better this week since the first airing was on Memorial Day weekend.

Thanks for that. Hopefully DeMarco responds to my tweet in the ratings being any better.

Hopefully with us out of Memorial Day that we can expect a noticeable increase in the first three shows.

He's on vacation, he may not have access to the numbers himself right now.

Already posted a few posts up, but yeah, it seems promising to me.  However, remember, Bleach and Deadman were both #1 in those demographics the week before but Demarco didn't seem too high on those ratings for some reason.  And it seems the Eric Andre Show has become one big flop.

Last week came out on Friday. I would expect something around that timeframe.

You two must be remembering wrong because the earliest numbers posted in this thread came from this blog post which went up on the 1st, as did the first post in this thread with that link (back on page 4).

Edit: That came out sounding really rude, didn't it? Sorry. :smileyindifferent:

I'm mainly talking about the full ratings. We got that on Friday. When we found out about Bleach, Casshern Sins, and Deadman Wonderland being #1 in their time slot for the first week, it was on early Wednesday.

We still don't know what the actual numbers in the 18-34 demo are for week 1 or week 2, and to address that, here's something that's a nod to the old Numbers Game Bumps, yet also new and different that Toonami could embrace:

When the bump begins, it shows a header for "Week 1: 05.26.2012" in Toonami's funky font and the numbers for Bleach, Deadman Wonderland, and Casshern Sins for week 1, then shows the numbers scroll to "Week 2: 06.02.2012" while the numbers below alongside the show names also scroll up to reach the previous week's ratings. Maybe then we could also have an up arrow (or in the case of a decrease, a down arrow) out to the side of the numbers. The Toonami aesthetic combined with Adult Swim regulars (like the "TOONAMI contains mature material that some vieweres may not find suitable" bump) has been superb so far and this would be a great way to take it a step further.
This Saturday night, TOONAMI says "Happy Father's Day" with a little father/son training in Bleach Episode 302 at midnight, then after that, it's Naruto uncut Episode 29 "Naruto's Counterattack: Never Give In!" at 12:30. Then, it's Toonami's newest addition One Piece at 1 with Episode 211 "Round 2! Shoot It Into the Groggy Ring!" and Excalibur returns on Soul Eater Episode 17 "Legend of the Holy Sword 2 - Wanna Go Drinking, Gambling, and Playing?". Next is IGPX Episode 8 "I Like You, I Like You, I Love You" at 2, and Eureka 7 follows that at 2:30 with Episode 42 "Star Dancer." Up next, Episode 9 of ThunderCats "Sight Beyond Sight" can be seen at 3, then Sym-Bionic Titan gets all "Disenfranchised" at 3:30 with Episode 14. FMA: Brotherhood makes a "520 Cens Promise" next with Episode 31 at 4 AM, and Cowboy Bebop does the "Waltz For Venus" with its 8th Episode at 4:30. Finally at 5 AM it's premiere uncut InuYasha episodes 63 & 64: "The Red & White Priestesses" and "Giant Ogre of the Forbidden Tower!"

Actually, when Toonami was still on CN, I remember [as] airing commercials for Toonami. In fact, here's proof of an ad during Inuyasha (Go to 0:13):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8SmVOOPLq4

But sadly, I don't think it would work this way since CN's target audience is too young for [as], even if it is Toonami.

We might of brought Toonami back, but it's not over yet. #KeepToonamiAlive

That was done before [as] became it's own network in 2005 so I doubt things like that will happen again.

@ALchemist81: A ratings bump like that should air once a night since it doesn't require much but still promotes Toonami.
