Toonami started out with no anime, and in the block's best days it included shows like Reboot and Batman TAS/Batman Beyond.

I really cant believe this is a question... Toonami is only and should be only anime. Toonami started with anime, and im pretty sure thats how it should stay, just how it is. Good original japenese anime.

The next new season of Venture Brothers should air on Toonami. And don't give me that "too adult" crap. Venture Bros. is already on Adult Swim, which Toonami is now a part of. It's the perfect mix of comedy, nostalgia and action. Right up Tom's alley.
Also, Star Wars the Clone Wars. Probably the best American animated show on TV right now. If Toonami hadn't been cancelled, TCW would have definitely been on its lineup. Plus no more censorship. The Clone Troops can say hell and #### all they want.

I would say Young Justice. It's just as good maybe even better than the old Justice League cartoon and they could play it during the earlier hours. That's if they get a better timeslot.

How about an animated Scott Pilgrim series? Anyone remember that short Adult Swim aired two years ago when the movie came out? I was hoping perhaps they could capatilize on the idea and expand on the Scott Pilgrim universe. From the top of my head, that's the best idea I can think of.

I remember someone suggested something like that to Jason DeMarco on Twitter. It's not something that's likely to happen but he said it's something he'd definitely love to work on if it were possible.

Agreed. Not only that but I swear to God they are pushing it with putting it on Saturday mornings. They are just asking for those hyperactive parents to complain away until they cancel it. After the way they abused JLU towards the end I wouldn't doubt it. With those new executives I wouldn't dare give any them any rights to an amazing animated series personally but oh well. I just pray they prove me wrong and start handling it better.

They'd have to air Justice League before that because the Unlimited series is a sequel to it.

I'm sorry but I'm just not huge on dumbed down plotless waste of space cartoons like Megas XLR. It does nothing for me.

I just prefer a well-written action series that gives me mystery, a bit of drama, an amazing voice cast, and beautiful animation. These are shows like Batman: The Animated Series and Young Justice that handle all of these things so perfectly. Megas XLR fails for me in every aspect and which is why I will never find myself to be fond of it.
