what if the twitter feed and the response is just Williams street toying with our minds
and by the end of the week they bring out a bump to tell us that it's not happening
These boards would die within minutes.
not a single user would be left

There's a difference between playing a joke and being complete ####. Adult Swim does make fun of anime fans but doing something like this and saying it's a joke is a bit much.

my point was that there would be nobody left on these boards if they betrayed us like that
Yeah, they would basically lose their anime following. Hey maybe that's their plan to replace ASA with more of their original content.

Give these guys some credit. They are not that dumb. If you are going to play a joke, you do something light hearted. You do not tell a portion of your viewers FU sheep. The reason we got a toonami April fools was because they can hear us. They are listening more than you think. CN and AS goal is to put programing on TV that fits the audience they want to attract, and they want to put programming on that will attract the most people. If they feel they can blend toonami in to attract a larger audience, and at the same time keep those who are already watching....watching, then I can see toonami making a returning in some form. You have to ask yourself how did we lose toonami in the first place. Was it the network or did we stop watching. I will say this part of it was companys like Bandai, and the crazy demands they made to CN and AS. For example sure you can have One Piece but you have to buy so many Gundam episodes in a package deal. They were trying to force 1970s Gundam down CN throats was the rumor. If that was true, that was one of the problems. If you are going to have toonami you have to do business with Japanese companys that think their anime is the goose that lays the golden egg. Live action is cheap to make. Think about it. Why do you think we are getting so much live action stuff.

If it turns out to be a big joke, then it is the biggest and most succesful April Fool's prank Adult Swim has pulled yet. They're probably laughing their #### off every time they see someone tweet #bringbacktoonami.

There are too many unanswered questions to determine whether or not the airing of Toonami on the eve of April 1 was a joke or a little something more; regardless,I must admit saying things like, "I won't watch Cartoon Network ever again if this was just a joke" makes you sound like a child given a sweet only to be denied another. Enjoy the sweet you have been given and be grateful for it is my advice. I know I enjoyed my treat.

I don't think anyone here has said that. If they did, I didn't see it. ![]()

I said,
"if this re-tweet #Bringbacktoonami thing is all just an elaborate troll I'm turning my back on AS", but not because of the Toonami night not being a permenent thing, I'll only get angry if they reveal that the retweeting thing is a troll and they're just laughing at and making fun of us for wanting Toonami back
