Well, in the anime, we're never really given any information at all about where they come from. In the manga, the boys find out for themselves. AND it gives a better reason for Knives to be the way he is!

****SPOILER WARNING*** *KEEPING UP WITH MY OWN ADVICE* :smileytongue:

Come to think of it, Cain, Grey, Midvey and Hoppet *Or what ever his name was* did commit suicide, that leaves Rai, Lenoff and Zazi to Wolfwood and E G killed Dominique and Monov or Legato did and E G just put them out for decoration and Rai killed E G and Knives killed Chapel so i guess you can say if you are in the Gung Ho Guns your s crewed, either by another Gung Ho Gun, your leader or yourself, hmmmm, one question is Legato a Gung Ho Gun or a leader or something else? So statically, if you look at it this way, *sorry just got done with math class* you are more likely to die of suicide, or Wolfwood, than anything else. The varible is this, who killed Dominique and Monov? If in fact it was EG then Legato is blameless at least on the Gung Ho Gun side *he did try to kill Chapel, but Knives stepped in* If it was in fact Legato then he is responsible for two of his teams deaths, but then it could have been another Gung Ho Gun, you just do not know, d@mn, now that is going to bother me to no end. Okay enough babling, enjoy (:

Sorry i didn't have the patients to read all of your thread but i have to say you must really love trigun to write all of that. Good luck on getting to 600 posts. I am also wondering what happened to all the people that Legato and Knives Kiddnapped. the Gung Ho Guns must've used them for target practice. Knives must've constructed an arena out of metal from a seeds ship and trapped all the people inside and let the GHG's have all the fun in the world.

Sick basturds.

Why did Legato only talk telepahicly to Vash when they first met and not later on? Did all that food get into his brain so he forgot how? Maybe the animation crew accidentally deleted their program for making the telepathic echo and didn't know how to replace it. Maybe they only did that time where Legato did that when they were drunk somehow for a very long period of time.

Legato wasn't a Gung Ho Gun, they just got their orders from him.

Actually, Legato was a Gung-Ho-Gun. There are 12 of them in the anime, and 13 in the manga.

Peanutcat - "And when XerBlade was helping make my thread even longer, you get it banned? I STILL don't get it!"

I don't want to discuss this anymore, let's just let bygones be bygones, and let the entire issue be closed, okay? I don't feel sorry for what I did, and I'd do it to my OWN thread should it happen.

Legato only talked to Vash that way so no-one else would hear. And to freak Vash out, too!

To tell you the truth, Trigun would be my fovorite anime but for the fact that Rurouni Kenshin is full of samurai swords, which tipped the scales just enough for me. That's just my favorite weapon.

I just think it would've been so much cooler if he'd done it more than just that time. The big point is, it just seems weird for a character that important to only use an ability like that once.

Legato can not talk to everyone that way, Vash wasn't surprised when Legato did it, was he? While not exhibiting the mental capacities of either his brother or the first Gung-Ho-Gun, he too has telepathy, though I don't know about telekinesis.

Peanutcat - "Okay, okay! I guess I forgive you. IF you help get THIS thread up to 600! *grin*"

You betcherass I will, Trigun sits up there on my favorite anime list. (Xerblade, try to keep your posts in moderation, because even if I don't say anything, if you post a lot Mods will see it).

I've already been trying just for you. There are many less important replies I would've made but didn't. Okay not that many, but that's only because there haven't been many since yesterday. Anyway, I thought he looked pretty surprised and maybe even scared when Legato suddenly started up like that. In either case, I'm pretty sure the reason he can only talk to Vash and Knives is because of Vash's arm giving him plant-like properties. Vash and Knives can communicate with the normal plants, you know.

Yeah, they can communicate with each other telepathically as well. And in the last episode when they were wandering as children, Knives just snapped his fingers and almost caused a plant to explode.

I think Vash was surprised because a man who wasn't a plant had the ability to talk right into his mind. But he quickly composed himself afterwards. Also, the whole arm thing, he did it (I believe) to get some of the long-life both plants exhibit. He put it on right after Vash lost it, and hasn't changed since then, which makes me think, he must somehow be pulling off the arms longevity.

DavidLucas

P.S. That's cool, if you can, just try to answer several questions in one or two posts.

That incident where Knives nearly caused a plant to explode was what I was thinking of when I decided to say that, but there are other examples.

Well think about it, that would freak me out if i was walking down the street and someone started to talk to me telepathicly*SP* So if Legato is a Gung Ho Gung he is like the big guy, but from what I understand, there is a female version of him in the magna, dont know because i havent gotten it yet, no bookstore in this town, unless you count the college bookstore but they do not sell stuff like that.

Yeah, I wish they would turn the college bookstore here, and maybe there too, into a real bookstore. How many textbooks and school supplies can people possibly want to buy in the middle of the year anyway?
