Does anyone know if they are, have, or are planning to bring back Trigun:smileyindifferent:? I loved that show!

Doubt it will ever be brought back.
But we have the movie to look forward to in the near future.

Trigun was great because it had a little bit of everything and didn't take itself too seriously.

As others have said - they have lost the domestic rights to air it. I hate to say it but you're probably better off getting your anime fix from fansubs....

Vash had a great song writing ability.  Anyone heard when the new Trigun is coming out.

If it's the movie you're talking about, MAL says 2009 (been in my Plan To Watch list for over two months now), but otherwise has no details.

Other sources (via Google) support this, save one that says 2007 (and that was said in 2005).
MySpace -- MAL -- "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin -- What is more important in a political candidate: Trustworthiness or Intelligence? -- "To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job." Douglas Adams

If you read like the second post I think, it says AS lost the rights to the show, so they won't be showing it again, probably ever.

It's too bad too, I missed most of the show, but what I did watch I liked.

Well...Madhouse is making a Trigun X movie as we speak , so...hopefully [as] will air that .

And it would be nice if they would lowered  the prices on the box sets

Can you still find the boxsets? I thought Trigun was licensed by Geneon.

They're on amazon.com

Amazon doesn't sell them anymore though to be clear.  You can only find them there through third party sellers in their marketplace.  The only retail site that you can buy them from directly is Right Stuf now it looks like.  They've got a little under a hundred copies of each in-stock right now.

  • Trigun DVD Set 1 (Hyb) Limited Collector's Edition - $89.98 , Your Price: $80.98
  • Trigun DVD Set 2 (Hyb) Limited Collector's Edition - $89.98 , Your Price: $80.98
  • Trigun Remix DVD 1 (Hyb) - $29.98 , Your Price: $14.99
  • Trigun Remix DVD 2 (Hyb) - $29.98 , Your Price: $14.99
  • Trigun Remix DVD 3 (Hyb) - $29.98 , Your Price: $14.99
  •

They're not on sale currently though as you can see, so pretty expensive.  The first three remix singles, which is what you get with the first set minus the tin, are on sale for half price right now however.

    Interesting .

It's really sad we gotta go through all this bull$hit to buy a really good anime ( one of the most popular animes of all time )

Hopefully this will change when Trigun X comes out

Uh, no you can't.  If you're looking at a three DVD boxset, which is the only thing you're going to find for that cheap, that's an illegal bootleg.

    Indeed .

    And judging by the reviews ( 1 Star, 3 reviews ) it's a really bad bootleg .
