Does Williams Street still have rights to Trigun? I hope Trigun returns to AS one day,I'd love to see it on Saturday Nights.

Aww man, I didn't know Rikku wasn't taken. Nice job on getting that for a user.
Anyway, there is a movie coming out. I believe it takes place sometime during the series.

Just watch Trigun online.
You could also buy Geneon's old DVDs on Amazon or eBay. Or buy FUNimation's box set when it comes out later this year.
FUNi's finally rescued Trigun...now, if they also pick Armitage III, Fushigi Yuugi, Fighting Spirit, Paranoia Agent, Girls Bravo, Serial Experiments Lain, Texhnolyze, Read or Die: The TV, Chobits, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Fafner, Record of Lodoss War, and Mad Bull 34, I will love them forever and let them have my children!

An OVA wouldn't work. They need to go the full revision route, ala Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
I'm dying for them to announce Trigun Maximum. Hopefully after the movie comes out.

Shows how much I've been paying attention to Funimation's pick-ups. I just picked up the old Trigun DVDs because I hadn't heard anything about them rereleasing the series. Thanks for that info. I guess I'll have to go on a little search to find what else they've picked up that I've been looking for lately.

I bought Geneon's old DVDs shortly before they went under. (The first two were from the initial DVD release, and the rest were Signature Series re-issues.)
Now it looks like I have one more show to repurchase so I can reclaim some shelf space.
