I liked Hellsing but wasn't too sure about Trinity Blood.  I have to say that after 2 episodes I really like it, in many ways even more than Hellsing.  I'm not going to compare TB and Bleach because they're 2 very different series but I do think there's more room for comparison with another vampire type anime.

Trinity Blood is intriguing.  Father Abel is a Krusnik?  We know that's someone who lives on vampire blood and with the second episode we know that he has some kind of nano machines to help him do that.  He was only working at 40% in last night's episode if I understand what he said correctly.  That's scary.

I have a lot of questions about the vampires.  Please don't bother answering if it's a spoiler because I won't read it.  I'm assuming that they came to power as a result of the Armageddon that someone (the Professor maybe?) mentioned.  Do they have the same attributes and limitations as traditional vampires?  Must they stay out of the sunlight?  Does the bite of a vampire turn some else into a vampire?  Is Father Tres shooting silver bullets?    I'll be watching for some of these answers in the coming weeks.  I'm very glad [as] picked this one up.

im a huge fan of blood+ and hellsing and i wonder how trinity bloods going to compare i like it soo far..and im curious about alot of things in it...the whole thing about 40% release when abel was transform reminded me of alucard sorry i cant help but to compare everything

I haven't seen Blood + so I can't compare to that but I think it's quite reasonable to compare TB with Hellsing.  The basic concept of vampire fighting vampire is there in both.  Hellsing and Alucard are much darker I think.  Father Abel presents a much warmer, more hopeful persona.

Another thing I like about TB is the thought of there actually being a place to live after the kind of destruction the world seemed to have sustained during the war.  It's easy to imagine a church in ascendancy after that kind of terror and the resulting conflict with the vampires.

blood+ is great ehhh..i dont think it compares to much to TB and hellsing either..i mean you can compare a bit..i sometimes forget blood+ is about vampire. im surprise how bloody TB is..i mean its not to bad...but i think its one of the most on AS alot of people have been saying abel reminds them of vash...i swear he looks like aion from chrono crusade ..which reminds me of the show for some reason...(i think its the whole nuns..pope..church thing)

I wonder about the little girl too.  I felt so bad for her.  In a war torn world like that you have to wonder if many of the people didn't feel the same way though.

TB is bloody.  I know there were some people who were surprised that it was coming on before Bleach, closer to the time when some younger viewers might be watching.  I think that Hellsing is bloodier though.

yaa i felt bad for her too...at first i thought she was a brat..but then i could understand why hellsing yaa..isnt it one of the bloodiest animes..following elfen lied

yaa i thought about the time slot for TB do you think it was put there soo people would watch it..knowing bleach's popularity

i know i proaublly wouldnt have watch it, and would of gone to bed if it wasnt before bleach

Ah...?? Is Adult Swim useing CGI clothing in some events to censor Female nudity? Like last night the Sister was a Vampire but she dressed down to a short black shirt and bra
that did not reflect the style of the show.

When the promos for Trinity Blood started playing, I was interested.  The animation was incredible, the action was **bleep**; but unfortunetely that's all it has going for it.  It lacks the well-rounded characters and the firm plot of other great anime like FullMetal Alchemist, Outlaw Star, and/or Wolf's Rain to name a few.  In fact, it almost seems like the writers were making up the entire storyline as they went along.  Also, like any work of fiction that has a prominent Christian influence (IE-Evangelion, Hellsing, Dogma, and the last few seasons of Xena) Trinity Blood has the tendancy to insist upon itself.

i agree.it's still a good show though.also this miight be a little off topic,but why does everyone always insist that evangelion has a christian influence?the symbolism has a lot more to do with jungian psychology.it shouldn't be compared to shows like trinity blood or hellsing.
