I know they announced they were signed for seasons 5 and 6 but that was two YEARS ago. Its starting to sound like we've seen the last of this show. Should have seen it coming, it was just too good to last.

Every thing else on Adult Swim has turned to **noel**. This is the only show left I liked. Life is a cruel **noel**.

Wow, two years and they're just now starting production? Lazy bastards. Don't they realize that this, Squidbillies, and Breaking Bad are the only things on TV worth watching any more? Being one of only 3 programs with any sort of originality on the air  their absence is all the more noticeable. And its not like the show is know for its high quality animation. Just hurry up already, I'm getting bored.

I'm going to send my henchmen out to start slipping snakes into all the vents in all the convention centers. Then they wont have any more excuses.

That doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. How long before some big executive guy start probing at them? I assume getting signed for two seasons is code for they got paid. And I do respect the authenticity of their procrastination but not the lack of more Venture Brothers. Quick before they merge Twilight and Harry Potter into a series on MTV.

No need to overreact. And the second half of season four aired in the fall of 2010, so it's not like they took two whole years off. They also made the Shallow Gravy special, several convention appearances and Jackson and Doc have been writing script in advance of the start of production. So before you accuse them of slacking off, just remember that good art takes time. That's what makes it good.

Doc's also got WEEP, and Jackson does work on Superjail - so there's those too. I'd rather they take five years to make the show or something then just throw something on the air.

James Urbaniak just tweeted that he received the first new scripts of season 5 and that recording starts next week. SO NO WORRIES THERE, FOLKS.

Unless your worry was that it won't be back for what still seems like a very long time. In which case, WORRIES BACK ON.

Awesome.

I'm not worried about the length of time, because I know what we'll be getting would be great so the wait will be worth it. Patience is something you learn as a Venture Bros fan.

If they aren't going to put them on the line up, then they should sell season 5 to a network that will show them.  I have waited too long for the 5th season, and they aren't even listed on the AS schedule yet.  Urgh.  Honey badger doesn't care, but I do.
