Does this show make you want to be a vigilante?

I know I'm going to get a lot of responses about how dangerous and dumb it would be to try vigilantism but I'd still like to hear everyone's thoughts.

Umm, what does The Venture Bros. have to do with vigilantism?

I concur w/ Majikthise.  Where in the whole Venture Bros. theme do you get vigilantism???

Some dumb silly threads do make vigilantism tempting.

I thought it would sound more serious than superhero. What do superheroes and vigilantism have to do with VB? Well, let's see... there are superheroes and "good guys" on the show and in real life if you attempted to put the law into your own hands you would be considered, um... what is that word again? Vegan? No. Vital? No. Voter? No. Oh yeah, a vigilante! Yay! You and twinbears69 learned something today! Give yourselves a big pat on the back. Oh and think before trying to degrade someone. Kay?

Not trying to degrade anyone. I asked a legitimate question because I just don't see why you would think anybody who watches this show would attempt to act like the people on it in real life. The only person being condescending in this discussion is you.

uhm, this may seem like the obvious, but you said you knew you were gonna get a lot of mouth about your topic, so why go on the warpath when someone asks you what the point of your topic is or how it relates to the show?

Because the actions displayed on the show are cool and very imitatible (for some). Ever heard of backyard wrestling? It's not safe at all and yet thousands of grown men do it anyway.

I thought it was going to be topic-specific not asking me how it could possibly have anything to do with the show. I mean vigilantism isn't what the show is about but it's represented in the show. I believe SPHINX is a good example. They're not exactly sactioned by the O.S.I. or any other group or government.

I got a question: WHY would THIS show convince someone to become a vilgante? I mean...I don't.....I don't really get what you're getting at here with this topic.

Might as well ask the same question of Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

It should make you all want to give yr lives to the bondaged servitude we've come to lovingly know as "Henching".

but a henchman is not a vigilante! he's just a pawn used by a true supervillain, to be spent the same way one goes through toilet paper or q-tips.

Seems to me that if you're gonna say, "I'd like to hear...", you'd respect everyone's right to be heard. Even if they disagree.
