My guess would be that it is a result of Hank being trained by and hanging out with Brock more, while Dean is being slowly led down the path to super science-dom. So there is a widening gap between the two's behavior.

Anyone wondering about the boys being so aware of their clones and their death(s), well Dr. Venture explained it away as a Christmas present to help with chores, etc. Hank and Dean certainly don't realize they've ever died.

 Right out on the front page of the message board they have a clip from when 21 takes on Brock with his 'lightsabre' in "tag sale, you're it." He's got 24 backing him up and everything. So sad.

I didn't think there would be a better line this season than, "He's often spoken of the coming war between man and the brotherhood of machines," but this episode has proven me wrong.

There were two moments where I didn't just laugh out loud, I CACKLED out loud.

1) Brock: You must be the Cleaner.

 The Cleaner: [smiles] *TING*

So cheesy it was hilarious.

2) March of the Wooden Soldiers with the clones and a rather gay (i.e. jubilant) Sgt. Hatred. It was my favorite obscure cultural reference of the season (if not the entire series) and it had me laughing uncrontrollably because of the simple wrongness of it.

who'll be in the seaon premier opener?

season 1 had Hank and Dean

season 2 had Doc and JJ

season 3 had The Monarch and Dr. MtM

season 4 will have.....Mol and Hunter? Pete and Billy? ...Doc and Hatred? 

Also, i was disapointed with the lack of Orpheus in the finale.

This is why I loved that scene. It seemed so out of place and cheesy, but it was one of the funniest things in the whole finale.

Just the image of Sargeant hatred, a confessed pedophile dressed like a soldier marching a bunch of NAKED half formed teenage boy clones to fight a bunch of men in armored suits and butterfly costumes... its an INCREDIBLY insane and hilarious image and deserves to go down in VB history.

General Traster was the person referenced in season 1 when Brock had to get his license to kill back.  He babysat for him. 

All in all a good if unfocused season.  Set up a lot of stuff, but didn't really resolve anything.  Which is fine I guess.  Given the greenlight of season 4 beforehand I guess they could afford to take a slower burn approach to things.

Seriously... if 24 is dead for more than like 5 minutes in S4E01 I'm gonna be seriuosly pissed.  If they can blow up girl hitler, catclops and manic 8 ball then they got to be able to do something with 24.  They could do some crazy story like they seem to like to do with these type of moments to resolve them.  You can NOT kill off 24 though.  It almost makes the Monarch feel irrelevant.  You HAVE to have those two.  You just have to.  I'm more pissed about his death than I was when the brothers died in return to spider skull island. 

All in all I'd say this season was better than season 1 but not up to season 2's level.  As for where they are going for season 4..... who knows.  They went an entire season without PL or Baron Underbeiht.  There is so many things they can do.  I hope they've already greenlighted season 5.

Nice call back with the Brock babysitting Treister's son thing- I just watched that epiosode two days ago and didn't catch that, although the name did ring a tiny bell- I went the whole ep figuring it must be a real person and that's why I'd heard the name before, but that's perfect.

VB's humor lies in duo's or groups working off of each other.  Dean and Hank, 24&21, the Lepidopterists, the shadowman 9, white and billy, monarch and rusty though those two work well on their own as well.  They can't, they simply could not have done this.  He's got to come back. 

I wonder if they'll do an prelim slogan for season 4 like they did prior to season 2 with the 'cause love blown up and get killed' tagline.   They were arguably the best part of the show.  Perfect coplimentary pieces to the overall puzzle.  24 and 21 could never be their own show but in bits and pieces ike they are here.... absolutely perfect.

But seriously, that was friggin' EPIC. The past couple episodes haven't had as much humor in them (as usual, I mean), but I don't care because it was awesome. When Sgt. Hatred was leading the clones outside and that music is playing...incredible. I only wish it were more than 22 minutes long.

i was hoping this season would end with a war between the guilds over the orb or sumthing... kinda disapointing but still a great episode.

   Well, it ultimately turned out to be useless but if you remember you had Hank and Hatred both getting Gung Ho about getting into the battle, and of course Rusty trying to dissuade them, saying that they'd need an army. Hank of course remembers his "Christmas Present" and Rusty can't really refuse him without revealing that the boys are clones. Hatred just got to lead them. I'd say it wasn't useless in that it effectively brought a stop to the battle, I mean, that sight would of course.

I question more why Hatred didn't just call in his 'army' of henchmen to help out, but when you realize that this was all just a device to kill off the clones so we actually start worrying about the boys again, it makes sense. And you gotta admit, it made for a freaking HILARIOUS image.

I also thougt it was a tad ridiculous that they would just march them out into battle like that, completely unarmed. When they first started marching them out I thought "Sweet, we're gonna get to see Sgt. Hatred do some bad a$s tactics, see him in real military action!", but that didn't quite happen. Also, what's the deal with my color? I got to be cool friggin white for like half an hour? What gives?
