I'm speculating that this week's shirt is Brock's Brisbyland shirt.

I wondered what happened to the old 21 Jumpstreet set...

There is a kind of over all parody nobody has brought up. Plenty of cheesy 70s/80s action movies though most recently: Borne Identity.  3 special assisins, on the run, etc.

I'd have to agree.

First of all, why no outro?! Yah need that if you really want the expectation, like Yugioh abridged.

Second, did anyone think "Le Tuere" resembles the spy from TF2? He had a pin strripe suit and was working for the OSI which is a spy unit within the Venture Brothers series. The French accent might also be a givaway. Also, reading your comments, he reminds me of Kraven and Deadshot.

Where was the line "Brockodile"? I watched the whole thing and I couldn't find it.

I think the white of the Soul Brothers was based on that Tom Macfarlane superhero from Spawn. He's a angel with gold armor.

I believe when he first gets to Holy Diver's boat Holy Diver calls him that.

The ep should blend into the next one.

Who did say "Brockodile" in this ep?

Holy Diver/Shoreleave calls him "Brockodile" when he asks to charter the boat.

Maybe I'm just a little slow, but what is "TF2"?

Okay, I probably could have just edited that post, but oh well. I just looked it up and yes Bibleman is Buddy from Charles in Charge. Classic.

I totally forgot about the "Boom, yummy!" line.  Definitely one of my favs.

Am I the only one who imagines the recording booth whenever we see a Doc/Jackson voice duo or hears one of them doing a particularly silly voice?  I can't stopped picturing Doc saying "Boom, yummy!" :smileyvery-happy:

I hadn't pictured that, but it is funny. I was wondering if TM and Dr MTM's talk about the Moppets in the "bonus footage" represented a conversation between the two

haha... Yes, I do! But only because I knew how they looked based on those commentary things.

"BOOM, Yummy!" Is quite possibly my favorite line in all of Venture Bros. history...

This episode doesn't epic to disappoint at all.  But it got me to thinking.

Will the only way for Brock to get out of this situation be to join the Guild of Calamitous Intent?

Rusty managed to turn it down, but Brock's survival might depend on it.

I hope I'm not being repetitive, though I didn't see this angle while skimming the rest of the thread.

No, that Idea hasn't been brought up at all, actually. I don't think its likely, but its certainly POSSIBLE. He states he 'respects' the Guild as an organization and has worked along side Phantom Limb and the Monarch a few times. But he's also killed probably more Henchman than any other man in history and his whole early career was devoted to bringing the Guild down, so you gotta think they'd be skeptical about letting him join.

In Brock we trust.

I'll concede that it's a longshot, even David Bowie would have second thoughts about signing on Brock.

It just seems that the idea of getting somebody to abandon all that they have fought for would be appealing to the Guild.

Henchmen, they're expendable, so the Guild really can't hold that against Brock.

I am pretty sure those two cops who came at the end arent actually cops.  Their response time was waaay too fast.  I am thinking they are either OSI or ex-OSI that Hunter sent to help Brock.

They said LAPD, I think. If memory serves correctly, that's Los Angeles Police Department.

I know what they said, and I am saying that was waaaaay too quick of a response time for people who werent intentionally trailing either Brock or the assassin.  Thats why I think they are spies of some sort.

I don't think Brock's fight with Le Tueur was THAT subtle as not to be heard by someone else. It's certainly possible.

it was a short, albiet noisy fight. I still find it hard to believe in a Droo's alt like that two LAPD detectives were right there that quickly. i mean the fight was what, a minute or so long? Thats an astounding response time.
