About Rusty, we know a few thing about his past but more interestingly we know certain loopholes that seem to allude to something more.

1. In the episode "The Incredible Mr. Brisby" Mr. Brisby reveals that Jonas Sr was dabbling in cloning.

2. In "Powerless in the Face of Death" Doc makes a comment about keeping clones of death prone children.

3. Doc mentions that the events from his boy adventures still wake him i his sleep to this day.

What I am getting at is the question: Was Doc himself cloned?

I admit its a farrrrrrr stretch. But we know that clones do not have knowledge of their deaths, but still have the memories and tendencies of the past versions of themselves. Perfect Example: Hank's conversation with Le Tueur in which he mentions jumping off his roof in his batman costume, which we know killed that version of Hank.

Plus... Doc has no luck with real scientiffc success. Almost everything he has was his father's. the only thing that he really did on his own that we know of is Venturestein (Not counting the OO-Ray from the pilot or the cloning facility)

Your thoughts?

That doesn't sound too far fetched plot wise, but it still could be a bit of a reach when comes to actual air time they have left to feature a story line like that.

OR...

You just stole one of Jackson and Doc's episode ideas for season 5, and the Ted Turner Legal Assault Squad is on their way to liquidate the evidence.

I think Jonas Jr's existance proves that Rusty isn't a clone, pretty sure Jonas Sr would have noticed that in the cloning process.

Or could Jonas Jr be PROOF of genetic tampering? According to Dr. O's Master, Dean is so cloned that his genes are messed up and he can only make monster babies... Dean also had a mutated clone D-19, Dean aslo had testicular torsion -which Doc made the side note that he could have fixed in the prototype phase.

The fact that Jonas Jr looks so much like Jonas Sr may indicate that there was a major defect in Doc's final body, maybe he was splitting off into twins but re absorbed him,

OR

Jonas Sr was ORIGINALLY cloning himself but ended up with Rusty. Instead of flushing him and starting anew he decided to raise  him as a son and not a failed clone.... this would also play into his remark about how Rusty is his greatest adventure and his greatest invention.

Good stuff man, and I don't necessarily disagree with your observation. It's just that before we got introduced to Jonas jr we saw a dream/memory of Rusty eating Jonas jr while still sharing a one bedroom apartment down on Mommy Street., umbilical cords and all. In fact I think every dream Rusty has with Jonas jr in it involves an umbilical cord. I see Rusty with a natural biological backlight.

If anything, I bet Jonas Sr actually is Jonas jr, only in clone form. Let me set the scene:

40 something years ago, in a fit of Cold War delusional/paranoid delirium, Dr. Jonas Venture sought out a way to insure his genus would carry on in the case of his premature death. Unfortunately, his plans were foiled when fetus Rusty got a case of the amniotic munchies. Fortunately, Dr. Jonas never realized that Rusty was a failure and didn't scrap the project out of, "Respect for the dead", or whatever.

Jackson and Doc have daddy/mommy issues and used all the cloning scuttlebutt to help others discover and or get over their own daddy/mommy issues.

Right 11 minutes into the first episode they show the dream of Jonas Jr actually eating Rusty. In "Eeny meeny miney magic!" he has a dream that Jonas Jr is strangling him. Whats wrong?? These dreams are symbolism. How do we know? You dont have teeth till a couple months after being born, not to mention the facial hair. The dreams were more symbolic rather than actual. It could be the symbolism of the two struggling for dominance of the body. Or rusty's subconscious reaction to the growth of a new life form in his body. You can't take the dreams literal, if so than how the hell do you eplain the dream of Rusty flying with his umbilical cord attached to his father's wang?

You idea of Jonas cloning himself with the hopes of preserving his genious is perfect. I was thinking the same thing OR (since he kept a watchful eye over Rusty for so long and had a tracking devide installed in his tooth) he had some sort of sedation treatment to keep JJ from growing out. since he died JJ started to grow. Rusty's constant pill popping deformed the small Jonas clone and thats why he has the deformed arm and small body which he would have probably grown out of or fixed if Rusty didnt... I dont know sell it?

Ehh...Off topic I know, but I feel that Dr.O's Master was only saying that and bringing up such a scenario to better his odds at pulling Triana into his world and studying the Dark Arts. I mean c'mon, whats a better tactic to gain the trust of a magical teenage girl than to portray her only "love interest" as a gene destroyed mutant chromosome spitting monster? 

Just my thoughts on that. But on topic I don't feel like Rusty is a clone.

Another point.

The 24 conspiracy.

We all seen "The Family That Slays Together, Stays Together Pt. 2" "Blood of the Father, Heart of Steel," "Powerless in the Face of Death" and "Operation P.R.O.M."

We know that Dr. O can raise the dead, or at least claims to ("Powerless in the Face of Death"). He says to 21 that he can't raise 24 because he is not really a necromancer, the term is used loosely ("Blood of the Father, Heart of Steel" ). He also traveled to Hell to look for Hank and Dean's souls. If 24 was really dead, he would have, could have found some evidence of a deceased 24. In Operation Prom he does not acknowledge 24 being there talking to 21, alluding to the possiblility of 21 actually being insane.

There are now two things we can assume from this. 1. 24 isnt dead. This could lead people to assume he could be the nameless voiceless SPHINX operative that we see in "Pomp and Curcuity" and in other misc. SPHINX shots. Since we see a slight tease of 21 joining SPHINX this could mean a possible reuniting of the duo.

2. This is one MAJOR plot hole the writers didnt think of.

WOW! I feel like Barry Bonds on a bad Roid Rage trip right now, stepping up to the plate in a special education friendly little league game.

1. To me it's not much of a stretch of the imagination to assume that the "Writers" love to "fill" these "holes" with their "insanity", in order to make "crazy" people keep "watching" their hit "show".

2. When it comes to conspiracy, opinions can be as varied as the smells that so spitefully waft from so many poorly maintained fair ground out houses.

3. I think you should try letting go of what you know, what you see, and what you think to be real about 24.

- Otherwise it may be difficult to accept the fact that he isn't alive.

Everyone's entitled to think they've found however many plot holes or continuity errors. As long as you enjoy the show, what's to keep someone else from doing the same, even if they do think it's swiss cheese.

I'm just saying, I really, REALLY didn't want to think that 24 was toasted. Like, every Venture fan did I think. But as with other Venturey matters, sometimes it's better to move on. 

It's not like I called him names that he had to wiki to fully understand how condescending they were or anything.

About that early dream:  it's Rusty eating Jonas, Jr., not the other way around.  Jonas emerged as a tumor removed from Rusty, not vice versa.  The Captain also makes reference to it  in 20 Years To Midnight.
