Ok, I would have gone total fangirl if I thought they were doing cons. I saw Croker and Lowe last year. Very nice, very approachable and very friendly. In fact it was Croker who came up to me at my VB fan table to say hello. Excellent people, both of them. And MC Chris. He was there too. Very nice and friendly.

I'm excited about the artwork now. That Brock pic was sweet. I was not excited before because DVD box art seldom is anything to get worked up about.

Nope. Though his costume is a bit of a nod to "The Phantom," in that it's purple and he has a sort of domino mask, but The Phantom was a good guy who lived in the jungle, so that's where the similarities end.

Here we have it. From Publick's lj. Phantom Limb is not a good guy. He's bad. Therefore, we're suppose to hate him. Sorry TJ.

Yeah, that picture of Brock is amazing. It'd make a great shirt. Even though we've only gotten two Venture Brothers shirts and neither of them had Brock. I must say, this seems like the DVD of the year so far.

Although Home Movies is pretty amazing too,  $20 which is cheaper than any other Adult Swim show and it comes with a CD with 50 songs. I can barely even buy a normal CD for $20 and this one is almost three times the size of most CDs. It's a good thing Venture Brothers is such an amazing show on it's own, otherwise I'd want at least a sticker.

adult swim secretly dislikes Venture Bros., secretly wants it cancelled, and their failure to successfully merchandise and market the show is a reflection of that. 

let's see how long it takes them to greenlight a season 3....which may or may not ever exist.

I dunno. Besides Boondocks, they really don't make big hubbubs about their shows. I will admit 12 oz mouse got an obcene amount of commericals on AS but otherwise, it wasn't really marketed in any other way.

What worries me is the crappy ratings VB reruns are getting nowadays. Not a particularly good sign.

They got the premiere date wrong but, the show was pushed back like twice already so they get a pass. They did spell "Samson" and "Jonny" Quest right!
