This is all happening!  Shore Leave is definitely a break-out character.

Easily the funniest emerging character of season 4. Elevating Shoreleave from his minor role as Holy Diver to team with Brock in SPHINX was as genius a move as was elevating Hatred to Venture bodyguard after he had just spent the season before as Venutre's new arch. Both Hatred and Shoreleave have become two of my favorite characters as a result, and both invigorated the show--you could tell they had fun writing both of them, especially Hatred in "Butterglider" and Shoreleave in "PROM."

I mean, everything Shoreleave says and/or does is funny. Same with Hatred for the most part. And the shooting contest they had at the start of PROM was hilarious. The shirts/skins football game with them butting heads was funny too.
