Hi guys. Thought you guys would like to see a Monarch sculpt I made. I suddenly got an irresistable urge to have a Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend bust/display for work... I wanted something that had a "oh crap - hi Pookums!" vibe to it, with a "okay Shelia, you can do this" response for the Dr Girlfriend head... So I tackled the Monarch first. Dr. Girlfriend will be next!

The wings will be laminated for durability... I made a casting in resin this past weekend, and am anticipating getting time to paint it over the next few days. I'm pretty excited to get this finished with color, eyeliner/pupils, etc!

This is proving to be so much fun, I want to "make 'em all"... I think a full figure of the Grand Galactic Inquisitor at about 12" tall with light up eye and soundchip (IGNORE ME) will follow, too. If I can pull it off, a "Rusty washing the Walking Eye" vignette isn't out of the question either. It's a freaking walking eye!! How can you resist!
