But he wanted that woman to marry him... Plus he has a daughter, whom Jonas Sr seemed to treat like his own.. More so than col. Gentleman.. Could explain Dr Quymn's red hair! And the fact that she had twins too!.. Its genetic
That would also make that entire episode seem just wrong... Like when Leah kissed Luke in Empire...

Neh, Qyuim and Rusty only share the same hair color, I doubt they are related. Also don't twins skip a generation? I mean, if Jonas Sr had Rusty and Jonas Jr, then wouldn't the twins brought on by Qyuim be impossible. Of course so would Hank and Dean, but they really don't look alike and I'm not sure how non-identicle twins work into that.

I just blew apart my own theory.....**noel**.

I still don't think they're related, but with no theory this time.

I hope we get another look at sgt hatred's defection to the guild... It looked like he was running the OSI in the invisible hand of fate.. Back then the OSI was trying to prove the guild existed.. Maybe Hatred's defection was their proof

I bet Billy's gonna be big in the next few seasons, they wouldn't have given him that elaborate back story if not. Plus that whole side subject of him fixing Monstroso, when really the guy was just being prepped to die.

I just wish the creators of this show would buckle down and do some consistent work. There are tons of animated series out there that have no problem putting out 20-24 episodes in a season. But with the Venture Bros crew, we get 4 episodes 8 months apart???? Bare with me, and let's review, it took 1 year and 11 months between the second and third season, then we were told we would get a sixteen episode season as opposed to 13 by the previous two. Oh we got it a  year and a half later; we got half the season and were then made to wait another 6 months for our other 8 episodes. So season 4's "spectacular" 16 episodes took 2 years to completely air. So now they're telling us "whenever" season 5 hits we'll get split episodes again???  Tell ya what, Jackson and Doc  (God I hope you read this), how bout you smoke a little less weed and do a little less blow, and **noel** show some work ethic. The fans are not stupid, it takes Venture Bros. 2 years to do a season because you are **noel** lazy slackers. I could tell the first time I met you guys. My only reasoning  as to why adult swim puts up with it, is because they are completely content playing the same reruns on a weekly basis (here's a clue, they made new episodes of family guy after the third season). You're amazing story tellers and created a truely compelling show, but in May it'll be 6 years since the first episode aired. In six years you've put out 4 seasons....thats not very good, and considering the audience your show plays to, I'd imagine a bit more loyalty from the creators. All I'm saying is I hope I'm still watching when you guys put more out, or decide to start answering some questions for the fans.
          Sincerely,

Other shows that put out 20-24 episodes in a season have more writers and directors working on them. On this show, it's all up to Jackson and Doc. (That's two people for those keeping count.) Sure, that means it takes longer for them to come up with more episodes, but it allows them to keep the quality high, and that's what I've come to expect from them. And that's the reason why Adult Swim puts up with it, because they know The Venture Bros. is one of their highest-quality shows and they're lucky to have it. And so are we. Jackson and Doc work their butts off to keep us entertained. Think about that the next time you feel like calling them lazy.

Sincerely,
a more patient fan

Dear Doc and Jackson,

I don't care how long it takes you to put out a good season of Venture Bros. The Simpsons and Family Guy spit out new seasons like a llama spits cud, but I like for my cartoons to have a bit more substance than those wothless pieces of steaming 500 lb man thongs. Clearly, smoking weed and doing blow, while entertaining a large entourage of hookers makes for some damned good writing, so keep up the good work, gentlemen!

Sincerely,

Of course, I came back an hour later, to see if I had provoked a response. I notice the two "fanboys" who've taken offense. You have a valid point about it only being the two of them working on the show, but whose choice do you think that is? Why do you think they KEEP it that way? Take it from someone actually working in the industry, someone who also started in low budget animation; as talented as those two are they could do more, especially if it's only the two of them, its less red tape and less minds that have to be changed in the writing process. They could write a well thought out and funny episode in a week, and if you say they need more time to be that much more entertaining, then go talk to industry legends who've made it work by theirselves, people that went days without sleep because they were brainstorming an entire season of material. **noel**, Annie Mumolo and Kristen Wiig wrote Bridesmaids in a week, the length of that movie is about the length of 1/4 of a venture brothers season. Don't kid yourself, it could be done, it's called hard work, it's called devotion, it's called pride in your work You're just making excuses, plain and simple, Jackson and Doc are known names in the industry, but there is a stigma on Venture Brothers. As for all those conventions i'll show you the three I've been to and you tell me if they answer anything they havent answered two years ago. On a side note people dont watch commentary to listen to your inside jokes or stories of your childhood, they watch it for insight into episode creation. I mean after 4 seasons of horrible commentary I hope you all make a decent attempt. I'm done with my rant. I hope you guys tighten up, I would love to work alongside you both one day, assuming that you two start doing some serious work. Someone once told me "It's really good, but think of how great it would be if you gave a **noel**."  That's it, its time to get back to work rather than argue with two fanboys who have 80k posts between them. BTW, fanboys, congratulations on all your successful postings.

Hey, Doom, check it out. Did you have any idea we were conversing with somebody who works in the industry and therefore knows how much Doc and Jackson work? Guess he told us.

I heard in their commentary (season 3 I think) that a lot of time goes into production and animation to keep the look authentic.. They said they do work with people in japan and that makes the process slow.. The 'from the ladle to the grave' rockumentary used a different style, and was probably much quicker... It was made with a computer, which is what many animators are doing now. The people from south park even said their animation took really long at first, and that still looked like **noel**... I prefer they make it the way it's always been, it looks very genuine. I'm not too happy that I won't see season 6 till i'm at least 30... I hope i'll still be into cartoons

Well the whole deal with Monstroso's henchman talking to 24 is because they were killed. If you listen to their dialogue, after 24 is identified he turns to the henchman and tells him that he has "bad news". So the assumption is that he is going to tell him that he was died. Plus, the henchman stood up amongst all the dead bodies.

Not knowing why the Monarch hates Dr. Venture is a great part of the whole show. No matter how many times someone asks, they never give a straight answer and it keeps you guessing. Like when the murderous moppets asked Dr. Girlfriend, she never gives a straight answer. It adds entertainment value and keeps you guessing

Honostly my oppinion of the next season is this.

Molotov and Monstroso are not dead. There is no way Molotov would want to just die like that in the end. Maybe it is to trick Brock into thinking she is dead.

24 is dead because in operation P.R.O.M, after being identified as 24,  he turns to Monstroso's henchman and tells him he has "bad news". Plus the henchman stood up from the pile of dead bodies.

I feel that 21 definitely quit the Monarch because in 4.5 Gary was getting constantly mad at everything. I think its possible he joins Sphynx but i'm not sure where Sphynx will be now that Hunter is head od OSI.

If 21 does quit the Monarch's crew, I don't see how they can show as much of the Monarch as they usually do. More than a little of his apperances in season 4 were sideline to 21. And if he leaves, they will want to focus on him more to establish his intensions.

If Sphynx Disbands that means the Brock has 2 (most likely) directions. Either he is back at the OSI, or he goes back to being Dr. Ventures body guard. If he becomes the body guard, who knows what Sgt. Hatred would do.

I don't think that the Monarch's hatred for Venture will be revealed until their final season of the show and it will probably be done in a special.

I hope they go into how Jonas Venture was killed. That has been bothering me and while it is an important piece of Rusty's background, I don't feel it is that important to the show overall. He died and Rusty is a failure in his place.

I also want them to bring J.J back.

Man... I hope Molotov is actually dead. I like her character, but that was such and epic and powerful way to go out... plus the whole will it won't it between her and Brock got old a while ago.

Honestly I'm kinda worried about what will happen to sphynx. I was a huge fan of them, and I hope the gang is still together (hopefully with 21) either as sphynx or more likley as the new and less d-baggy OSI.

Most of all I hope Hatred is still the Venture Bodyguard and I hope Brock goes on more awesome adevntures with Gary and Shore Leave.
