Who has the saddest life in the Ventureverse?

Don't just name a person explain why you feel so.

Examples:

Dr Venture- Forever caught between his father's shadow and failure, Dr Venture has barely any reason to be happy. Everything from unforseen events to personal half ass effort have caused his chances at success to wither and die. His greatest success, and probably his only, was cloning his own sons to keep them from permanent death. This too seems to backfire as on of his unsuccessful clones tried to kill his son, Dean.

Dean- Cloned to the point of geneticly deformed offspring (or so the sarcastic and smart-mouthed "Master" in Triana's closet says) Dean seems to be trapped in the same life that his father has resented being forced upon him, science and adventure. Overlooked, under appreciated, and neglected, Dean seems to be trapped in the same vices his father wants to escape.

Billy Quizboy- Victim from the start, Billy Quizboy was an unwilling participant to cheating at a gameshow hosted by Pete White. Ever since, he has been kidnapped over and over to preform illegal operations and even espionage and infiltration missions against his will. Prefroming everything from a complete arm reattachment, head grapht, Gorrilla heart transplant, to genital surgery, Billy has been the person to call (or kidnap) when a delicate operation needs to be done. He never recieves any official praise or acclaim for his feats.

Pete White- The albino companion of Billy, Pete White seems to only make situations worse. He tried to help Billy win a quiz show by cheating, which only got Billy banned and labeled a cheater. Then lined him a job doing quizzes underground, but that only lead Billy losing his left eye and hand, as well as being disqualified. His efforts to help the Venture brothers locate Brock and Rusty almost caused a nuclear holocaust.

Unless Dean finally breaks out of his shell in Season 5, I think he has the saddest existence.

I believe the season four finale -- where he definitively tells off The Outrider -- was a major step in that direction.

I think Baron Underbite is probably one of the saddest characters. I mean, he starts out, heir to an entire country. Then it just spirals down to homeless drifter.

Heir to country

Monarch fails to kill Dr. Venture in colledge, blowing a part of Baron Underbite's face.

Baron underbite get's his own country, but is too bent on revenge with venture to properly enjoy it.

now in a feud with Venture (a mistake, Venture is innocent), attempts to capture venture and is kicked out of his own country.

Now exiled, underbite is a homeless drifter.

Finally, he joins phantom limbs' revenge society. And he get's a role driving a cab where the sleeping gas only get's him and he crashes.

No real good breaks for this character. I think he's doing worse than dr. venture...

Orpheus, he's genuinely a sweet guy who isn't trying to dlck people over and that D-bag Outrider stole his woman, and Triana is hanging around him now too not good man, not good.

Billy. Any one who loses their arm, leg and eye, gets mauled by a gorrila, is molested by SGT Hatred and has his body distorted is a butt monkey to me.

How would you like a Rusty Venture?

But it was revealed that Sgt. Hatred didn't molest Billy. The rest of that stuff did happen to him, though.

Action Johnny.  He has a similar background to Dr. Venture's, but obviously with less paternal supervision since he became a junkie early on.  Without any college under his belt (probably), nor any family at all, and then coupled with withdrawl symptoms and relapses, he is definetely deeper in failure soup than Dr. Venture.  I think the Action Junkie put it best himself, "....Next thing i knew I was blowing lines off the back of a Monkey's Paw I got in Calcutta.  Now I'm all out of wishes."

Major Tom, or his ghost, as the case may be.

He found out his wife got married to that ass, Action Man.

If these kids find out that their hero has had sex, their heads will explode.

The fans who have to wait for Williams Street to take forever to decided to renew the show and the the writers, producers, and animators who need so much time to prepare the next season all while the inertia of the show's popularity fritters away.

Please wait...

HELPeR the robot. The unsung companion and friend to all in the Venture clique. He is always there to watch over the boys, take care of Rusty or aid Brock when he must actually do some work. This poor character must settle for being left in the shadows by all who he cares for most. In the season three finale he saves the Venture family from their planes loss of landing gear while sacrificeing himself to ensure their safe landing. This causes him to be captured and tortured by the Monarch and his crew to the point of revealing his families location. At the end of the finale we see him with dynamite strapped to his back right before he explodes. Does HELPeR get any thanks for this, no, well....actually once in the G.A.U.R.D.O episode but that was just a plot a point. HELPeR is the saddest robot I know.

Love never blows up and gets killed.

I was going to say Rusty but Action Johnny does have it much worse than he does.

Bonus question: Does anyone know why they can't name his character Jonny Quest? They had Race Bannon on the show.

The best shows are always short lived.
