Why has Patrick Warburton missed so many episodes?

IMDB shows 58 Venture Brothers episodes overall, and Patrick Warburton / Brock Samson has been in 46 of them. Most of the 12 he has not been in, if I recall correctly, were in a big block.

 

I personally think the show really goes downhill when Brock does not appear and/or when Brock and the Venture family members don't interact.

You Brock fanboys kill me. Brock is not that important to the show anymore. They can carry themselves quite nicely without him.

The best shows are always short lived.

Brock was hilarious when he would go **beast** and start to kill everyone. But they couldn't do the same thing forever....

Because of  the idea that Brock shouldn't be forced into every episode, hell even Dr. Venture missed a couple of episodes.
