Welcome to the Horde!

the Venture bros. have given the world one of the greatest super-villains of all time. An actor and a chracter who stand in the company of giants like Gene Hackamn as Lex Luthor or Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor. This man is Jackson Publick and he is The Monarch.

Serving The Monarch makes you part of the great tradition of henching. Be you henchman or henchwench, laying down your life for the glory of The Monarch will be your truest calling. Facing almost certain death at the hands of Brock Samson or even the wrist darts of our leader, we strive to serve the best we can.

This is the club that is not a club. Anyone can be Numbered and used in the fight against Dr. Venture and his swedish murder machine. This thread is therefore dedicated to the discussion of The Monarch, his Fluttering Horde, Dr. Girlfriend, the Floating Cocoon, life in this servitude, etc.

You can get your henching number by asking for it, posting positive things about The Monarch in this thread, posting frequently in the thread, or if I feel like it.

The Horde's base of operations is a Floating Cocoon sometimes known as the Belly of the Lair of The Monarch's Hideout.


===Henchmen Duties===
Members of The Horde have performed various duties in service to The Monarch. Employed as anything from errand boys to assassins, members of The Horde are versatile and capable agents of villany. Duties of the henchmen have included:
* Sending apology letters.
* Unleshing herpes-smeared sexbots on traitorous members of The Guild.
* Killing the Venture brothers.
* Strong arm tactics.
* Kidnapping (aka recruitment).
* Using exotic animals to assassinate high profile targets.
* Hand-to-hand combat against Brock.
* Surveilance and other intelligence gathering.
* Housekeeping.
* Writing and publishing propaganda (and The Flight of The Monarch).


==Known Henchmen==
Henchmen meet a number of gruesome ends in service to The Monarch. Whether in combat against Brock Samson, struggling against the servants of Underbheit, or be traitorous to The Monarch and feeling his sting - the life of a henchmen is likely short and their death is probably painful. An example of the pain inflicted upon henchmen on a continuing basis was during Are You There God? It's Me, Dean, when Number 43 had his tendon cut which made his calf muscle roll up like a window shade. However, even with such a high turnover rate a few henchmen have gained some notoriety and became Known Henchmen:
* Henchmen 21 and 24 are regualrs on the show.
* Number 37, who was stricken from the roster in Dia de Los Dangerous for being a traitor. An alternate view was that he merely coughed and was slain by The Monarch in a paranoid fit, but that is widely regarded as untrue in front of The Monarch.
* Numbers 18, 27, 38, 41, and 46 have been mentioned but only in passing.

2. Will The Monarch finally focus on getting back at Phantom Limb instead of arching Dr. Venture?

2) Arching Venture is the Monarch's passion. However he has seemed a tad bit preoccupied with trying to get Dr. Girlfriend back. Hence in hate floats he came to the mall to see Dr. G, the venture gang just so happened to be there.

9. The Monarch Mobile, think it'll be updated and outfitted with new equipment and gadgets this season? Probably not right away. The Monarch has a lot of rebuilding to do. For one thing, he needs to get some henchmen that are actually going to be loyal to him.

10. Last we saw of Tiny Joseph he was shot out of The Monarch's wrist dart at a prison guard, what's his fate? Probably still in the prison infirmary, but he'll find a way to escape.
