Scott Pilgrim is a fantastic movie and comic, but it is absolutely nothing like Xavier at all. Yeah, it's fast paced and full of wit, but they are two completely diffrerent beasts.

However, if you like Xavier for what it is (not just because it's "weird" or you like to get high with it), then you have good tastes - therefore you should enjoy Scott Pilgrim as well. Also, vast knowledge and fandom of retro gaming couldn't hurt.

I refuse to watch any movie with Micheal Cera.

Theres no way the brilliance of Xavier can possibly be in this film. Maybe its visually similar in some aspect but I cant see any other way.
