My only complaint is I couldn't make out 2/3 of what Papa D1ck was announculating in the stripclub through the trucker's hand radio thang... The fast paced style of the new season is like a hovering wheelchair for my crippled heartmind, but when it does pick up in speed there needs to be a tad more focus on hyper annunciating everything so it doesn't get lost... even after repeat viewings. Before I go into the deliciousness of the soul rape in this'un I just wanted to confirm: Did anyone else catch the allusion to the THIRD SEASON in the bump before robot chicken before Xavier??????

nah, I missed it, what happened? How could you tell it was about the 3rd season?  I loved this episode btw, its one of the few that actually made me laugh out loud when I was in the room by myself.  It was just that last 15 seconds of it when everything started paning out of everything else kinda like in the Chakrashuri Battle episode.  That caused my brain to pull a 180 and I instantly passed out only to wake up 12 hours later in some strange liquid...

Xavier's knack for drawing hostility to himself was elevated to Roadhouse proportions!

The reminiscing of his mother to death was deliciously twisted as well.

I saw the bump. Indeed, there was mention of a third season.

I'm pretty sure I didn't hallucinate it.

Which is something I can's say for the actual episode...

I missed the episode, but then I just imagined that I remembered that I did watch it, which means that I did, in fact, watch it.

If our perception of reality is mediated through our memory of it, is reality affected by changes in our memory?  I guess it depends on what you mean by "reality" and "memory" and "mediated".  And "if".  Everyone, just remember this as an awesome post so I don't have to actually work at making an awesome post.

Wow, that was such an awesome post.

I remember that post.

It was awesome.

Even though I don't remember reading it. So, it never happened. Just like this last episode.

Actually, that really was an awesome post. I can say that because I just remembered feeling that way whilst reading it. Now, in memory, I reread its phantom-sauce-omenes and youditate on how grateful I am to have meditations of it, and a host of other memorables. Me-more-me. But then again, I think I'd be just as grateful to live fully in the present but still retain the instinctual capacity to wipe my **lololololololol** and tie my shoes... Much like a baby spider who pre-cognates the vast architecture of its birth rite web loom and can get to work moments after birthulation with no on the job training from (usually cannibalistic) mommy. Where would Xavier be without the ability to pre-member his post socializations in selfsame autodaddy function? That pre-lates to what Papad*ck was saying about being his own mummy. The moral of the allegory is, to quote an IMO fine Incubus record: Make Yourself. Or fake yourself. Fake it till you make it. Same shame different difference.

PS If someone wants to be a (voodoo) doll and transcribe what the trunk papa d1ck was saying during the intercom announcements I will midwife your brain babies in a vat of bronze protein. Or you can have 2 hours in my girlfriend. And the best part is, I'm single. I's neglectin my poor oil fields.

3rd season! YES!

This episode was really amazing. I thought it was easily the most comprehensible episode of the season so far, although by this point I think it's pretty accepted that the endings are just going to be a complete mindfvck and there's really no point in even attempting to understand them.

Cuddlecrumbs spin-off, please!

You pretty much have to watch these eps with Closed-Caption on. All Papa **lololololololol**'s (Judah F.?) stuff is hilarious.

My guess was "Color Chromes".

I think my favorite bit is how Xavier's memory is not only unreliable, it's recursively unreliable.

I thought it was a great episode, but it was hard to understand what the bar guy with male pseudocyesis was saying. and correct me someone, is the first kid was what originally happened, then the xavier and the kid was what precluded the kid becoming a cave guy trying to retalk sense into his past self again in the next set? did the monster ruin it?  didnt xavier give his soul to the kid which was the monster. is this even what happened? my brain crackles like scrambled burnt eggs trying to recall. but that is the overwhelming power of xavier. he is but a far off dream that runs away as you grasp.  its like xavier touched me deep inside, in my private areas, while i was sleeping. and for that, i promise to tell no one, how thankful i am.

No.

At least that's what my memory filtered reality tells me.

But seriously, I don't know of a way and am pretty sure it can't be done.

Earlier in the thread, spejic pointed out how the reality of what happened is depicted through how Xavier remembers it, which isn't necessarily what actually happened (a concept that completely escaped me before I read that post). Because of this, I don't know if Xavier's interference in his own past dooms him to that caveman-like future, or if that's just one of the ways he remembers his adult self as a child (paradox).

In other words, the monster, the caveman-looking guy, the variation of kid Xavier as partially one of his drawings at the end, are all the same reality shown in different ways of being remembered. Xavier may never actually look like the "cave guy," but that's one way he remembers himself.

It's one of PFFR's favorite techniques. Watch the 'Science' episode from Showzen Season 2 when Chauncey and Him have hiked their way into Wordsworth's Short Term Memory Center.... Or Xavier saying "I wish I could watch myself, watching washing..." Lo, they always find some way of innovating their own innards though, as MagicFood pointed out earlier, with each rung of the concentric mystery memory puzzle in this ep... something is lost / added to subtly clusterf*ck the whole... until we arrive at something unrecognizable. I can't help but think that the KotoChromes (?) are meant to be seen as interdimensional beings who were spawned symbiotically by Xavier's demon child doodles, in turn writing Xavier's story as their Messiah... Always loved the idea that the creations of man have an objective reality in some overlapping realm, and that they are co-creating us... Careful what you wad up in throw in the waste basket, lest you make a destructor God of yoself ...
