I figured as much; because I remembered everything up to the end of the battle with Sensui (in the cave of course), while watching through my dvds. I hadn't seen anything from that battle to the end of the series (and to me, the show is still just as awesome afterwards too).

That was the point, actually. Yu Yu Hakusho was actually modeled after DBZ. I also agree that it is better than Bleach.

Agreed. I love bleach, but Yu Yu Hakusho is better. With that said, Bleach is in a way the new school Yu Yu Hakusho in almost the same way that Naruto is like the new school DBZ. Of course Yu Yu Hakusho just has something about it that gives it an edge over just about everything else. I don't see AS getting the series again, but everyone who hasn't should definitely check it out on Netflix or just buy the new dvd sets.

haha, I just finished watching the series through again very recently. It was pretty cool, but very, very, VERY cliche. It doesn't offer anything new to the scene and isn't likely to bring in a bigger audience. Probably best to leave it in the past with memories of other classic cliche animes, like DBZ and the likes.

You may as well just paint yourself yellow, run around like a maniac, and call yourself banana man, cause that's what you're doing.

What isn't cliche, even today, and that even includes American cartoons? Besides, a lot of people back then probably didn't look at this show in that light, just enjoyed the plot, action, etc., thoughout. Of course it wouldn't bring in audiences today, they don't look for the kinds of things that are in that show anymore, plus the animation isn't as good as stuff today, so it would be an instant fail to most of today's generation, sadly...

I wouldn't mind if it came back on. When it came on Toonami, I was still pissed because it was bc of those shows that it moved. This show eased my anger bc it was a very good show.

I think Yu Yu Hakusho was a great show and I would love to see the end of it. It got taken off the air in the middle of the show, but it not even close to being the best show. Bleach is much better.

Well if adult swim has no power over it, we need to convince funimation to bring it back. if they can redo FMA and pull up all kinds of new shows they can bring back yu yu hakusho, if only to test and see how many viewers they get.

I don't think that it is the best action program ever. I do think that it is a fantastic game and I would appreciate seeing it on AS again. I think that instead of acquiring new titles they should give us some blasts from the past and let us see the shows that got us hooked on AS in the first place.

FUNimation didn't bring back Fullmetal. Years ago when the FMA manga was only about 1/4 of the way through, they decided to go ahead and make the anime. They ran out of manga material soon enough, so they just went off on their own story direction. The manga's very close to ending now and is still very popular, so they decided to make a second anime that would actually follow the manga and be faithful to it. This was done in Japan, and FUNimation had absolutely no say in the matter. The only part they play is to license, dub, and distribute the show for American audiences.
