Toonami, I believe, played all but the last season, which AS played some of (never got to watch any of it, but I did know it was on).
[as] played through the saint beast arc.
toonami/sves aired until the episode before "death of a spirit detective".
cn finished the rest of it on some early morning timeslot.
I figured as much; because I remembered everything up to the end of the battle with Sensui (in the cave of course), while watching through my dvds. I hadn't seen anything from that battle to the end of the series (and to me, the show is still just as awesome afterwards too).

Yusuke's Spirit Gun reminds me of a Kamehameha, except he makes a gun with his hand

That was the point, actually. Yu Yu Hakusho was actually modeled after DBZ. I also agree that it is better than Bleach.

Agreed. I love bleach, but Yu Yu Hakusho is better. With that said, Bleach is in a way the new school Yu Yu Hakusho in almost the same way that Naruto is like the new school DBZ. Of course Yu Yu Hakusho just has something about it that gives it an edge over just about everything else. I don't see AS getting the series again, but everyone who hasn't should definitely check it out on Netflix or just buy the new dvd sets.

Better story and fighting sequences? That's why I like it anyway .

haha, I just finished watching the series through again very recently. It was pretty cool, but very, very, VERY cliche. It doesn't offer anything new to the scene and isn't likely to bring in a bigger audience. Probably best to leave it in the past with memories of other classic cliche animes, like DBZ and the likes.
What isn't cliche, even today, and that even includes American cartoons? Besides, a lot of people back then probably didn't look at this show in that light, just enjoyed the plot, action, etc., thoughout. Of course it wouldn't bring in audiences today, they don't look for the kinds of things that are in that show anymore, plus the animation isn't as good as stuff today, so it would be an instant fail to most of today's generation, sadly...

I wouldn't mind if it came back on. When it came on Toonami, I was still pissed because it was bc of those shows that it moved. This show eased my anger bc it was a very good show.
I never got to see it passed i think season 2

Well if adult swim has no power over it, we need to convince funimation to bring it back. if they can redo FMA and pull up all kinds of new shows they can bring back yu yu hakusho, if only to test and see how many viewers they get.
