I couldn't remember for sure... so I took out book 17, and I started flipping through it, and then I forgot what you asked. I'm so out of it tonight.

He doesn't say much more about it in the manga. He just mentions that as a reflection, it was kind of fun. As a general rule, the anime does better at expanding upon what the manga laid out as guidelines.

I really love Yuu Yuu Hakusho. It is indeed a great show. I think I am going to try and buy the boxsets that are out right now.

Are both boxsets out for the Dark Tournament, or only the first one?

This is just a guess, but I think Chapter Black will have a box set release sometime around March.

Oh boy, that is a long wait. Isnt there another saga aftert he Black Chapter one? If I have seen it all by then I won't mind wainting for it to come out....of course I could just get seperate dvds.

The story arc after Chapter Black will be sold on DVD starting November 23rd. I guessed March because the DT part 2 came out the same month Chapter Black finished being released on DVD. It looks like FUNimation changed the release schedule and if every month stays like Nov/Dec then arc 4 will be finished in March or April(depends on how many eps are on a DVD). I'm guessing Saga of the Three Kings will have five or six DVDs. If it's five, they will have three DVDs with four episodes and two with three episodes. It could also have six DVDs with three episodes a piece.

That's true, but I find the newer episodes to be quite strange and the once a week really makes me mad. ESPECIALLY the time, that is the absolute worst time. I'm always watchin TV right before and after its on, and I forget to watch it at the right time.

Smack me in the head if I've forgotten, but the only time they ever showed Kurama healing someone else was in Two Shots, no? It still took Hiei several hours to recover (although it would have been longer without the help). Perhaps Genkai is faster. Plus, Kurama was in pursuit at that particular moment, and maybe he found that more important.

Specifically, I was referring to the explanation involving the separation of the human and the demon into two separate entities. I wondered if Youko would remain alive if Suuichi were killed. Also, you mentioned that Youko had decided that he didn't wish to separate from his human body at the end of the story. Do you take that to mean that he plans to die when his human form dies of old age? Can he do that or will he become ...something else? Thank you for patiently answering questions you must have answered a million times already.

First part; that's what I assumed. But when the second part comes into play, I'm not sure anymore. I would think that he could die by choice, but also exit Shuuichi's body before it died if he chose to do so. So much of mythology comes into play when talking about Youko Kurama, and I only know a few fox myths.

I think it has to do with the fact that his life as a demon was not very honorable. He became attached to the compassion and relationships involved in his human life.
