Always Sunny had product placement from the start, but I never cared, because the characters, anti-anti-anti-anti-anti-(etc) sitcom flavour and all around just weirdness of the show make it win the game (the game being .. [?]).  Of course once they got Dan DeVito it went to the next level, off the chain perhaps, but regardless, you have all sorts of famous situations

* those moist guys in bathrobes

* DeeDee on fire

* stuck in a pool

* alien grappling

* glue guns

* journey in the back of a stepvan

I cannot say that Always Sunny actually has anything positive to offer the world, but I can say that it is highly enjoyable in some way that I cannot explain and yet that still exists,
